***------------------------------Last update 12/21/07 * * * * * Legend: S = Sativa I = Indica H = Hybrid (Sativa/Indica) We at C.C.S.C. are here only to recommend to our patients what kinds of medications to try based on scientific journal infomation and patient testimonials. Please consult your physicians per your recommendation for final approval. Sativas are usually described as cerebral, psychedelic, thought provoking and spacey. They keep you upbeat and more alert. Sativa strains are recommended for people who suffer from Depression, Migraines, Chrohn's etc. Indicas are usually described as heavy, lethargic and body oriented. They are good for pain and nausea. Indica strains are recommended for people who suffer from Chronic pains, Insomnia, Anxiety and symptoms of Cancer and Aids. Hybrids usually alleviate symptoms from both of the aforementioned classes of strains. Kush Plants originate from the mountains of Afghanistan. They are derived from the Indica strain. Though there are many crosses (Hybrids) the effect is usually very body oriented and sedating. This medication is usually good for intense pain, the nauseous effects of chemotherapy and/or the effects of Aids medications.
In a continued effort to differentiate our C.C.S.C. Collective from "street vendors " or other non conforming dispensaries, we have added a more pharmacy like approach to the way we describe our medications. We will describe our meds according to how they affect our patients conditions. I.E. "Strong Indica = pain, Moderate Sativa = alertness". We will still use common strain names to describe our meds because this is what our patients know them as, until our new system is more familiar.
Strong Indica = Chronic Pains, Insomnia, High Anxiety (Aids Symptons, Cancer treatments)
